Training Certification


The Ripple Project is the contracted entity with the State of Washington authorized to certify training curriculum that meet Washington State Service Standards for Sexual Assault Services in Cultural and/or Language-Based Communities.

Has one or more of your staff listened to an on-line training applicable to your work supporting survivors or organizing for prevention but need certification to confirm learning objectives were met? We can help. Email Info@WeAreTheRipple.org to learn more.

Has your program already developed culturally-specific sexual assault prevention and advocacy training?

Materials that meet Washington State Sexual Assault Service Standards for Services for Marginalized and Native American Communities will be approved. Programs wishing to seek training certification are invited to submit training materials to Info@WeAreTheRipple.org.

Submission materials for consideration of Training Certification include a Training Storyboard that details:


Training Available


Training formats include a variety of LIVE, recorded, in-person and virtual events.

In-person events will be scheduled as community health and weather conditions allow.

Customized Training


Centered in your community and program specific needs and practices, the Ripple Project will work with you to develop trainings or curriculum that meet training requirements of the Washington State Sexual Assault Service Standards for Services for Marginalized and Native American Communities.

Whether your needing a 1-hour training or an entire training curriculum, The Ripple Project can help you to identify your training goals; design interactive and engaging presentation content; event planning and training evaluation.

With over three decades of experience developing training and curriculum, the Ripple Project is available to assist programs to create a training plan and curriculum.

To ensure all communities have access to high-quality, community-centric training that meet applicable Sexual Assault Service Standards, advocates, prevention facilitators, leaders and contractors in culturally-specific sexual assault prevention and services programs are invited join efforts and to evaluate and update advocate training requirements and materials for sexual assault services by and for culturally-specific communities.

Linking Programs to Content Experts

The Ripple Project is committed to promoting the reach of community experts in the provision of culturally-centered services. In response to training and leadership requests outside the scope of the experience and expertise of our staff and contractors will be referred to content experts with lived experience as members of the community(ies) they serve.
